Dan is the Co-Founder of a members only entrepreneur community very unimaginatively called ‘Foundrs’ (we couldn’t afford the ‘e’!
Our purpose is to compassionately connect ambitious founders breaking new ground without breaking themselves.
We quite purposefully have no social media and barely even a website - but what we do is bring people together in real life to discuss their challenges and help them manage their mental health, and businesses through the ups and downs. Members include founders of well known brands like Shazam, Justgiving, Wetransfer, Calm, Moonpig, Mumsnet and many more but it’s a place for letting go of our ego, and stripping back to what makes us really human - our vulnerability.
We also organise the most insanely epic annual retreats - ‘Funconference’ and ‘Foundrs Forest’.
Everything in the foundrs community is run ‘bottom up’ - by the members for the members.
There’s no membership fee, the only way in is to be invited by an existing member who can vouch that that person does indeed fit our values - and we co -create all our content together.
Dan’s role as President has been to design the framework, values, systems and put together the board to make sure there’s longevity as it continues to grow, and build deep connections for deeply ambitious founders to remember to be open, vulnerable but also have fun along the way!
